Piano: Beginners' may practice at home on a 40 or more key-keyboard. After 6 months of lessons, a good quality piano is recommended for students to make the best progress. Pianos should be checked annually for tuning, placed on an inside wall of the home, and away from any direct heat registers. A humidifier in the room is also an excellent idea of preserving your instrument. Upgrading your piano will allow your families progress at the piano that much more rewarding.
